Walk a Mile in Their Shoes 2022

What is Walk a Mile in Their Shoes?

The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors is proud to announce that our annual Walk in Their Shoes event is going to be in person this year, and we need YOU to make it happen. Gather up those shoes from wherever you are and take steps to end rape, sexual violence, and gender-based violence in the community.

We invite you to join us to show solidarity with survivors in the community. Participants create their own teams with friends, family, colleagues, or neighbors, collect pledges, then walk together to support survivors of sexual and gender-based violence.

Who participates?

Anyone interested in bringing awareness to sexual assault and who’s committed to eliminating it in our community. Want to know more about the walk? Check out our website at www.visitthecenter.org/wits-2022 to view our walk toolkit, with tips for sprucing up your walk, fundraising ideas for you and your team, and more!

Register your team at: www.visitthecenter.org/wits-2022 Donations of any size are welcome and a $20 donation enables you to get your own event t-shirt, entries to win raffle prizes, and a ticket to our entertainment event following the walk. All proceeds benefit the 501(c)(3) nonprofit: The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors, the sole rape crisis center serving the peninsula.
