Breathe In

Welcome to the Self Help Portal

This page is full of resources for survivors on their healing journey. At the Center we offer Free and Confidential counseling, and support groups for survivors. If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual assault we are here to support you.

If you are in crisis call our crisis hotline at 757-236-5260.

At the beginning, the work feels like a burden. But eventually, you see the healing process as the beginning of a lifetime of growth.

Meditation can help you feel calm

Your thoughts are not your reality. Meditations can help survivors who are dealing with negative thoughts or feelings that can't seem to go away. Meditating every day can greatly improve mental health.

These guided meditations will walk you through the process step by step.

You are not alone. Some survivors feel motivated after hearing from other survivors who are further along on their healing journey. Below are some stories from survivors. Trigger Warning: They do reference sexual assault through their speech.

I believe you, and you are not alone.

If you are in need of support call our 24/7 hotline: 757-236-5260
