The Center for Sexual Assault Survivors is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. We are located in the city of Newport News, and serve residents in the cities of Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Smithfield and the counties of Isle of Wight and York. The Center serves anyone who has personally experienced, or cares for someone who has experiences any kind of sexual violence and intimate partner violence, including rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse, sexual molestations, incest, sex trafficking, stalking, sexual harassment or unwanted touching.
Services are provided free to all survivors, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, age, economic status, education, parenthood, physical and/or mental abilities, national origin, immigration status or any other status.
The Center reached approximately 500 survivors last year, as well as hundreds more through our community outreach programs.
The Center is fully accredited through the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance, and has been providing services to the community since 1996.
